Electronic access control replaces that with credentials you can issue, restrict, and shut off in seconds, plus a record of which door opened and when.

Access review
We map the doors that need controlling, who should pass through each one, and what has to happen at those doors during a power failure or a fire alarm.
Hardware and layout
Readers, controllers, and door hardware get specified to the door type and its traffic, then laid out with the cable paths needed to support them.

Controllers, readers, and locking hardware installed and wired to code, then tested opening by opening rather than assumed to work.

Common Questions
Can access control work with the cameras we already have?
In most cases yes. Access control and video surveillance are commonly tied together so that an entry event and the footage of it line up. We review what you have in place and tell you what will integrate cleanly and what will not.
What happens to the doors if the power goes out?
That gets decided during design, not discovered afterward. Each opening is specified fail-safe or fail-secure based on how the space is used and what life-safety and fire code require for that door.
Can we start with one door instead of the whole building?
Yes. Plenty of jobs start with a single entrance or one restricted room. Installed properly, a one-door system can be extended later without redoing the original work.
