Common Questions
Cat5e or Cat6?
Cat6 is the default for new work and supports higher speeds across the distances found in most commercial buildings. Cat5e still has a place on smaller jobs and on additions to existing Cat5e infrastructure. We spec it against what the drops need to carry now and what is likely next.
Can you cable a building we are still occupying?
Yes. Most of our cabling work happens in buildings that are open for business. Pathways, work sequence, and cleanup get planned around your operation instead of shutting it down.
Do you fix cabling installed by someone else?
Regularly. That work usually starts with tracing and labeling what is actually there, then repairing or re-terminating the runs causing the problems.
